The world had seen a dramatic increase in the use of chemical weapons in recent years by both terrorist groups – but also government forces. Many have been killed and injured, and thousands of victims and witnesses of these attacks flee across national border as seeking safety in neighbouring countries as refugees.
Thin Blue Line’s Project Chronicle establishes a protocol for use by support agencies when refugees are first encountered, and will enable eyewitness testimony, photographic, documentary and, where available, forensic evidence from these victims and witnesses to be retrieved in a manner which can best support prosecution of those responsible in the national and international courts.
